Kierson Farm is located at the beautiful Hunterdon Equestrian Center, specializing in the training of American Saddlebreds, Morgans and Hackney Ponies. With an emphasis on Saddleseat Riding. Saddleseat is a form of english riding that is designed to show off the grace, beauty and athleticism of the horse. Riders can showcase either Performance where the emphasis is on the horse, or Equitation where the emphasis is on the rider, their position and how they ride their horse.

Miss Nikki (pictured above)

Miss Nikki, originally from Columbia, MO graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Equestrian Science and Minor in Business from William Woods University. Specializing in training and pre veterinarian. With a long and successful show career as a Junior Exhibitor, Miss Nikki was a top Equitation rider, the first 10 and Under rider to make the Top 10 at the UPHA Challenge Cup National Finals. During her time at William Woods and for many years following graduation she learned and worked with UPHA Hall of Fame Trainer, Virgil Helm. While a Trainer at Virgil Helm Stables Miss Nikki trained some of the top horse showing today including: WGC Bravo Blue, WCC Take A Guess, WGC Real Action, as well as winning her first World Championship with WC Lady Bella, World Champion 5 Gaited Ladies. Following her illustrious career with VHS, Miss Nikki teamed with High Spirits Farm where she trained the infamous WCC It’s Dan The Man. Now with her sights on developing riders she has owned and operated Kierson Farm for past 5 years. Teaching and training riders of all ages is her passion.

Miss Karen

Miss Karen teaches beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons as well as the daily training of the show horses. Miss Karen has a long family history of great horse trainers and following in her families foot steps. A sixth-generation horse trainer and experienced riding instructor. She has loved and studied horses her whole life and loves sharing that passion and knowledge with all those who are willing to learn. Horses can really change lives and teach us life lessons that are sometimes hard to grasp — like the value of hard work, dedication, practice, trust, loyalty, structure, growing, learning, and loving.

Juan Carlos

Carlos, Farm Manager at Kierson Farm, has been with Kierson Farm since its inception. He has taken care of many top show horses, runs the maintenance staff, caretakers and oversees barn operations. Kierson Farm would not run without his expertise.

Miss Lisa

Miss Lisa is our camp Director and has been with Kierson Farm from 5 years. Her daughter has grown up riding at Kierson Farm. Miss Lisa runs all of the camps, Birthday Parties and Special Events at Kierson, she always has a smile on her face and loves working with kids!
